American Butcher Bratwursts are made from a heritage breed, all-natural pork from the Beeler family out of Iowa. They use a very traditional German spice blend in their Bratwurst. They are subtly seasoned with baking spices such as mace, nutmeg, and clove. The flavors from the spices come through in the finish and lend a wonderful complexity to this classic sausage. Poached in beer and white onions before grilling to give some texture and caramelization to the casing. 100% natural pork casing on these sausages provides that characteristic snap.
